The story follows Kush Agnihotri (Imran Khan), a young assistant director tasked by his brother Luv (Ali Zafar)—an investment banker in London—to find him a suitable Indian bride. After a series of comedic failed encounters, Kush selects Dimple Dixit (Katrina Kaif), a wild and free-spirited former acquaintance. However, as wedding preparations begin, Kush and Dimple realize they have fallen for each other, leading to a series of "topsy-turvy" events as they try to navigate the situation without breaking Luv's heart.
