Perspective Rectifier is a software tool designed primarily for architects, engineers, and topographers. Its core function is to convert photographs of building facades, interiors, or architectural details into geometrically correct "ortho-images."

When you take a photograph of a building, the camera lens introduces perspective distortion—parallel lines converge, and the scale is not uniform across the image. You cannot measure distances or angles directly from such a photo. Perspective Rectifier solves this by using geometric constraints (such as vanishing points or control points) to "flatten" the image back to a rectified plane.
