Technical Report: VBox 3i – Capabilities, Setup & Operation 1. Device Overview The VBox 3i is a network-attached DVB gateway . It receives digital satellite (DVB-S/S2) or cable/terrestrial (DVB-T2/C) signals and streams unencrypted channels over IP to multiple devices on a home network (smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, Kodi, Plex, TVHeadend, etc.). Connect antenna cables to all 3 RF inputs (for independent channel viewing/recording). Connect Ethernet to router (DHCP recommended). Attach USB drive (formatted as ext4, NTFS, or FAT32 – check manual). Power on.

Step 4 – Channel Scan
Go to Tuner Configuration → select your tuner type (DVB-S2, DVB-T2, etc.). For satellite: select satellite (e.g., 28.2°E Astra), enter LNB parameters (Universal Low/High: 9750/10600 MHz). Click Scan (takes 5–15 minutes per tuner). Repeat for each of the 3 tuners (they can be configured differently, e.g., different satellites).
