(English title: Saving Said ) follows the story of Said , a young man from the French suburbs. When his mother falls gravely ill, she makes him promise to give her a "dignified" burial – in their homeland, Algeria. The catch? Said has no money, no passport, and a police record that makes traveling impossible.
