: During battle, hero skills are offered via a random generator. If you don't get the options you want, you can refresh them using ads or dice, though broad upgrades are often more reliable than chasing a specific "perfect" roll.
You cannot simply edit the value of your gems using a "Game Guardian" or similar memory editor because the server is the single source of truth. If your phone says you have 1,000,000 gems, but the server says you have 10, the server wins every time.
