After a work-related suspension, Ajay concocts a plan to travel through and record video lessons from historical sites to prove his worth as a teacher. As the couple visits locations like Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Auschwitz , the film draws direct parallels between their marital discord and the atrocities of the war. Through these visits, Ajay undergoes a character transformation, supposedly learning empathy and the value of what he has by witnessing the immense suffering of the past.
