Launch 0.91. Go to and increase the memory limit (if needed). Because it’s 32-bit, keep your document complexity low. Also, turn off automatic updates (it will point to dead links).
On macOS Catalina (10.15) or newer, 0.91 will not run because Apple dropped 32-bit application support. You will need a virtual machine or dual boot. inkscape 0.91 download
