Civil 3d Compatibility Now

If you must send a native file, use Autodesk's free (which includes TrueConvert) to batch-downsave a 2025 Civil 3D file to 2018 format. Warning: Object data is not preserved perfectly. A surface down-saved from 2025 to 2018 becomes a "dumb" surface (snapshot) in older Civil 3D.
