Prior to this update, tires were often criticized for feeling "slippery" or inconsistent. The v0.11 update overhauled the tire pressure and thermal simulation models. Tires now had a more realistic grip curve. They would heat up and cool down more realistically, affecting handling. If a driver pushed a car too hard for too long, the tires would overheat, leading to a loss of grip—a mechanic that added a layer of strategy to racing and drifting. The v0
