The plot (used loosely) follows three down-on-their-luck flatmates—, a cynical slacker; Penny , a hyper-intelligent but socially awkward goth; and Gloria , a former child star desperate for a comeback—who win a mysterious contest to spend a weekend in "Barnabas Manor." Unbeknownst to them, the mansion is a sentient, hormone-powered reality-bending trap designed by a lonely, mad bio-engineer named Dr. Cupp.
