The first two seasons of Hannibal were dense, but Season 3 takes a sharp turn into experimental arthouse territory.
In the second half of Season 3 (Episodes 8–13), Francis Dolarhyde (Richard Armitage) speaks in a guttural, internal growl as "The Great Red Dragon."
