Launch the Minecraft Launcher on your PC or Mac. Ensure you are using the Java Edition (the original version of the game), as the Bedrock Edition (Windows 10/11 version) does not support legacy beta versions in the same way.
In Beta 1.7.3, you use the Fog Toggle . Press F on your keyboard. You will see the render distance cycle between Tiny, Short, Normal, and Far. This does not exist in modern Minecraft.
