Find Kyoto Station on the map. Look for the orange line labeled "206." See two arrows: one going straight up the right side, one going up the left side. Step 2: Choose the right-side route (Clockwise). It travels via Kawaramachi and Higashiyama . Step 3: Count major intersections: After Jingu-michi (Heian Shrine), look for Ginkaku-ji Michi . That is stop #6 from Kyoto Station (roughly 35 minutes). Step 4: Note that the map shows a "transfer point" at Higashiyama Sanjo for the Tozai Subway line. This is useful if you want to exit the bus early to ride the subway to Arashiyama (which Bus 206 does not serve).
