What users are actually looking for is one of two things:

Edirol was absorbed back into Roland, and Roland is notoriously protective of its intellectual property. They have never released the SD-90 samples as a standalone plugin or SoundFont. While Roland does offer the plugin (which emulates the SC-88 Pro), it does not capture the unique spectral character of the SD-90.
