The Web Installer is prone to failure. If your internet connection fluctuates for a split second, or if Microsoft’s servers are experiencing high traffic, the installation can fail, leaving you with a generic "Installation Failed" message. The offline installer is a self-contained package. Once you have downloaded the file successfully, the installation is guaranteed to run locally without dependency on server availability.
