Microsoft changed the driver model significantly with Windows Vista, and again with Windows 8 and 10 (WDF). Consequently, 32-bit drivers from 2002 will not work natively on a 64-bit version of Windows 10 or 11. Apple’s macOS has also dropped support for older SCSI and USB scanner protocols, making native drivers extinct.

Only try this if you are running a 32-bit Windows 7 or older.
