Unlike the main protagonists who band together, Missing Footage focuses on isolation. Morishige finds himself alone, immediately breaking his leg. Crawling through the bloody, rotting halls, he does what he does best: he documents. He films the ghost children. He films the writing on the walls. He films the crawling dark.
