The original release of Geometry Dash featured only three levels: Stereo Madness , Back on Track , and Polargeist . At this stage, the game was a straightforward "impossible game" clone with a techno soundtrack. There were no coins, no secret vaults, and certainly no user-created levels. Players can now create Mario style levels, Zelda-style dungeons, or puzzle platformers. The skill ceiling has been replaced by a skill atmosphere . Version 2.2 is still being patched (2.21, 2.22), but it has already spawned a new generation of creators.
