Some versions of the emulator allow you to go to App Settings > Memory Cards and select Import Memory Card to directly load a pre-configured .ps2 card file. File Locations on Android

The game says the memory card needs formatting. Fix: This happens when the .ps2 file is corrupted or empty. Delete the faulty file from /aethersx2/memcards/ . Launch AetherSX2 without a game. Go to Settings > Memory Cards > Create New Card . Name it Mcd001.ps2 . Reboot RE4. Resident Evil 4 Save Data Aethersx2
