Fast forward forty years. In-ha’s son, (also played by Jang Keun-suk), is an arrogant, modern fashion photographer. He accidentally collides in Hokkaido, Japan, with Yoon-hee’s daughter, Jung Ha-na (also played by Im Yoon-ah), a cheerful garden designer. Unlike their shy parents, their dynamic is initially combative but quickly develops into a passionate romance.

The first four episodes follow (Jang Keun-suk), a sensitive art student, who falls in love at first sight with fellow student Kim Yoon-hee (Im Yoon-ah). Their relationship is defined by unsaid words, shared yellow umbrellas, and acoustic guitar melodies. However, due to severe health issues, timing, and a complicated love triangle involving In-ha’s best friend, the two are forced down separate paths.
