Shoulder sleeve insignia for former wartime service (the “combat patch”) is worn on the right sleeve , ½ inch below the shoulder seam. The current unit patch is worn on the left sleeve .
Up to four combat or special skill badges can be worn. One badge is typically centered on the left breast pocket flap, while two badges are spaced equally from left to right.
