Max Payne 3 Stuck On Loading Screen

Is the game stuck specifically after you finish a level or watch a cutscene? This is a corrupted settings cache.

For a bizarre number of users, the loading screen instantly vanishes and the game continues. This works because the game’s loop unblocks when the launcher crashes.
