The core of the library is, of course, the instruments themselves. While many percussion libraries offer generic "ethnic drums," Ethnaudio provides a specific palette of Anatolian sounds that defines the genre.

Don’t confuse the Anatolian with its North African cousin. In Turkey, this frame drum is often larger (40-50cm) and sometimes has a snares (thin gut strings stretched across the inside of the head). When the player puts their thumb on the snare, the drum produces a buzzing, thunderous "zırıltı" that sounds like a swarm of bees inside a bass drum.
