A group of tourists (John Abraham, Esha Deol, Vivek Oberoi, Lara Dutta) head to the jungles of Corbett National Park for a wildlife adventure. They encounter a mysterious forest officer (Ajay Devgn with his iconic rugged look). Soon, they realize that a vengeful, supernatural tiger (or a spirit known as "Kaal") is hunting them. The film plays a smart game of "who is human and who is the beast?" with a twist ending that redefines the concept of the hunter and the hunted.
