The Baremo is an official, non-binding fee scale approved by the governing body of the Pontevedra Bar Association. Its primary purpose is to serve as a guideline for calculating "reasonable fees" in the event of a dispute between a lawyer and their client, or to assist in taxation of costs if a court orders one party to pay the other's legal expenses.
