Malargale Guide

During the 11th and 12th centuries, the region now known as Malargale was a bustling Agraharam (a land grant given to learned Brahmins and warriors). While the Chalukyas of Kalyani ruled the Deccan, the local Kakatiya chieftains were consolidating power in this rugged terrain. Malargale was their citadel—a naturally fortified complex of granite hills that provided a 360-degree view of the surrounding plains.
