Formed in San Sebastián, Spain, by guitarist and singer Juan Gallardo (aka Santi Rubio). They started playing covers of AC/DC, Judas Priest, and Motörhead. The name Ángeles del Infierno (Angels of Hell) was chosen to reflect their rebellious, devil-may-care attitude in a post-Franco Spain where rock was still seen as subversive.
