Unlike The Sims 2 on PC (where typing "rosebud" or "motherlode" works), the PSP version has EA purposely locked the game down to force players to engage with the survival mechanics. However, those mechanics are flawed:
Once CwCheat is running, you need to input the codes. You can either manually type them into the "Add Cheat" menu or download a pre-made cheat.db file.
(for XMB, optional but useful) ms0:/seplugins/cwcheat.prx 0 (0 = disabled in XMB)
