The ringleaders were Rachel Lee and Nick Prugo. Lee was known for her fashion sense and obsession with luxury brands; Prugo was a troubled teen who found an outlet in Lee's daring schemes. They were joined by a rotating cast of accomplices, including Alexis Neiers, a budding reality TV star; Diana Tamayo; and Courtney Ames.
