Salaar: Part 1 had a budget of approximately ₹270 crore. While it grossed over ₹700 crore worldwide, the production house, Hombale Films, estimated a loss of nearly ₹60 crore due to piracy (including leaks on Isaidub and Tamilrockers).

As the film's release date draws near, fans are eagerly waiting to know if "Salaar" will be dubbed in Telugu, one of the most popular languages in India.
