Dwell time is how long the product sits under the heat. If your belt moves too fast, the film doesn't fully shrink (creating "ears" or loose corners). If it moves too slow, you burn holes in the film.
When your Shrink EXP is poorly calibrated, you use more film than necessary. If your film gauge (thickness) is too high for the product weight, you are literally throwing money into the waste bin.
