In 2018, a user on a Russian gaming forum posted photographs of a "Pressed PC DVD" for Forza Horizon 2 featuring the SKIDROW logo printed on a disc. It showed a cracked key code on the back. This was an elaborate high-quality bootleg. The user had taken an old Grid 2 DVD, used a LightScribe burner to print custom art, and sold 50 copies on eBay before being banned. No physical SKIDROW DVD ever existed in retail circulation.

The game and its DLC reached "End of Life" on September 30, 2018, and were delisted from the Microsoft Store.
