Unlike fictional disaster movies, Only The Brave stays painfully accurate to real events. The film follows Brendan “Donut” McDonough (Miles Teller), a troubled young man who joins a hand-picked crew of local firefighters led by the stringent Eric Marsh (Josh Brolin). Their journey from a “Type 2” initial attack crew to becoming certified “Hotshots” is gripping.
