Microsoft is pushing Windows 11 on ARM. Future Surface Pro tablets (or even MacBooks with touch) may become more efficient. An iPad could serve as a wireless touch display for a headless Windows PC (using Luna Display or Duet).

When will we see true exocad on iPad? Only when Align Technology decides to rewrite their software from the ground up for mobile. Exocad is a leading open-architecture CAD software platform for dental restoration design (crowns, bridges, implants, bars, etc.). It is traditionally designed for with high-performance CPUs, dedicated GPUs, and mouse/keyboard input. The iPad (running iPadOS) is a mobile touch-based platform.
