Visually, the show is a watercolor pop-art explosion. Character designs are elongated and stylized—think Adventure Time meets a fashion sketchbook. The color palette is heavy on magenta, teal, and coral, but never visually muddy.
Unfortunately, despite a strong first season, Sunny Day would eventually be overshadowed by Nick Jr.’s bigger properties.
