LG introduced Anti-Rollback to prevent users from installing older, potentially vulnerable firmware. However, if you upgrade to a buggy new version, you’re stuck. The patched tool forces the flash even when the ARB version mismatches, allowing you to revert to a stable OS.

Many antivirus programs flag the patched tool as "HackTool:Win32/Patcher" because it modifies DLL files at runtime. This is a false positive. Add an exception to your antivirus or temporarily disable real-time protection.

You cannot use the Flash Tool without the firmware file.
