Sarabjit Singh was born on June 10, 1980, in Tarn Taran, Punjab, India. Growing up in a small village, Sarabjit was instilled with strong values of patriotism and service to the nation. His family, though not well-off, was rich in spirit and encouraged Sarabjit to pursue his dreams. Little did they know that their son would one day become a symbol of hope for millions.
