After Davenport’s latest invention—a super-strength, laser-equipped exoskeleton suit—begins to malfunction, Leo decides to take matters into his own hands and "fix" it. Predictably, the suit goes rogue, unleashing destructive power throughout the household. This happens just as Leo's suspicious grandmother, Rose, is visiting, forcing the bionic siblings to help Leo hide the truth while keeping the house from being leveled.

Adam is the breakout star of this episode. In previous episodes, he was largely used for physical comedy or as the butt of jokes regarding his intelligence. Lab Rats 1x6 flips the script. It gives Adam a win that doesn't involve his super strength. It establishes a running theme in the series that Adam, despite his lack of academic prowess, possesses emotional intelligence and a unique perspective that the others lack.
