This movie is a panic attack. A man gets a wrong-number phone call from a soldier who says nuclear missiles will hit Los Angeles in 70 minutes. The entire film is real-time screaming, trying to find a payphone, and the collapse of civil order. It is arguably better than Dr. Strangelove for nuclear anxiety.
