Building a deck in this game requires accepting that you will be attacked. Joey’s deck in the anime was a mix of Gamble cards, Luck cards, and Warriors. In the game, however, you are not forced to play his gamble cards. You are given access to the entire legacy of the series (provided you input the codes). Therefore, the best decks in this game are usually "Control" decks that stop the opponent's big monsters, or "Beatdown" decks that swing for game before the AI can set up.
