Not all resetters are created equal. Some versions are specific to certain regions (e.g., a Russian version vs. a USA version). Using a cracked version intended for a different firmware revision can corrupt the EEPROM of your printer. If the EEPROM is corrupted, your printer may become a "paperweight" that cannot recognize cartridges or function at all.
