While not always drawn in a purely electrical schematic, the "ghost" component in the 95522H diagram is the mechanical linkage. The solenoid action (created by the coil) physically moves a plunger. This plunger closes the power contacts (the main circuit) and often an auxiliary contact (for sealing the circuit).
