Raja (Rajinikanth) travels from his village to the city with dreams of becoming a film actor. He reunites with his childhood friend, Raghu (Raghuvaran), who appears to be a wealthy benefactor. Raja is tasked with managing Raghu's household and caring for five troubled nieces and nephews who are lazy and undisciplined.
