Cisco Gns3 — Images ((exclusive))

GNS3 emulates the hardware. When you load a Cisco image into GNS3, you are loading the operating system that you intend to run on that emulated hardware. The emulator (Dynamips for older routers, QEMU for newer ones) mimics the physical chassis, and the image brings it to life.
