Director Dave Filoni and composer Kevin Kiner outdid themselves. The episode’s score reprises “Journey into the Star Cluster” (the Purrgil theme) alongside mournful renditions of “Kanan’s Death.” The animation shifts from the grim, smoke-choked battle of Lothal to the stark, beautiful abstraction of the World Between Worlds.
